Charcoal Furnace: The “Black Revolution” of Biomass Conversion
In today’s energy transition and increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements, the charcoal furnace, as the core equipment for efficient utilization of biomass resources, is quietly changing the pattern of traditional charcoal production.\

The equipment through high temperature distillation technology, wood, straw, shells and other raw materials into high-value charcoal, not only solves the biomass waste disposal problems, but also opens up a new path of green circular economy.
I. Technology Core: Thermal Decomposition Magic in Oxygen-free Environment
The core principle of the charcoal furnace is high temperature dry distillation, i.e., in an oxygen-free or oxygen-limited environment, the biomass raw material undergoes thermal decomposition reaction through precise temperature control (100-1000℃).
The process is divided into three key stages:
1. 1. Drying and dewatering (100-160°C): rapid evaporation of water from the feedstock, laying the foundation for the subsequent reaction;

2. Pyrolytic recombination (160-650°C): decomposition of complex organic matter into intermediate products such as wood tar, acetic acid, methane, etc.;
3. Deep charring (650°C or higher): further precipitation of the residual volatiles, resulting in the formation of high-quality wood with carbon content of 80% or higher.
